The Saudade Photo Collective has proudly concluded the International
Photography Contest “Culture Shoot”, an event dedicated to celebrating
diversity, cultural differences, and the timeless beauty found in
human expression and the natural world.

This year, 141 photographers from 46 countries came together, offering
their unique perspectives and visual languages. From this powerful
exchange, 3,030 photographs were accepted, forming a vibrant mosaic of
stories, emotions, traditions, and moments captured across continents.

The contest unfolded in six carefully curated sections — Open Color,
Open Monochrome, Nature, World in Focus, Photojournalism, and Portrait
— each revealing a different way of seeing and understanding our
shared world.

The works were evaluated by three internationally respected judges:
Garik Avanesian (Czech Republic), Christos Constantinou – Acheriotis
(Cyprus), and Bojan Petrovic (Serbia). Through thoughtful discussion
and passionate debate, they honored images that spoke not only through
technical excellence, but through meaning, honesty, and soul.

The prestigious FIAP Best Author of the Salon award was presented to
Istvan Kerekes (Hungary), whose body of work stood out for its
consistency, vision, and emotional depth.

Culture Shoot once again proved that photography is a universal
language — one that crosses borders, connects people, and preserves
the fragile beauty of our differences.

Thank you to all participants for sharing your vision. The world is
richer because of it.
